The Government of Himachal Pradesh had created a separate Directorate of Health Safety & Regulation vide Notification No. Health-A-B(12)1/2002 dated 1st June, 2009 for the effective implementation and monitoring of various Acts applicable to health sector in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
